  • Spanish Interpreter Evaluator

    The Spanish Interpreter Evaluator will screen prospective Spanish Medical Interpreters to assess whether they are fluent enough to interpret in a healthcare setting. They will also gain insight into the barriers that exist in health care for uninsured people and how the social determinants of health influence our patient’s lives. Additionally, the SIE will have the opportunity to develop projects with the goal of improving the Spanish Interpreting volunteer program at the Clinic.

  • Communications and Marketing VISTA

    Reporting to the Director of Donor Relations, the Communications and Marketing VISTA will enhance Rhode Island Free Clinic’s effectiveness of marketing, communications, and outreach initiatives. They will also expand the reach and scale of leveraged resources with improved community awareness and engagement.

  • Data Analyst Americorp VISTA

    Reporting to the CEO, the Data Analyst VISTA will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to enhance the production of meaningful service, outcome, and quality information with improved use of technology, improved performance measurement tactics, and improved use and coordination of analytical collaborations.

  • Electronic Health Record Optimization and Training Coordinator

    The Electronic Health Record and Training Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining high levels of knowledge about and abilities with the Rhode Island Free Clinic’s (RIFC’s) electronic health record (E.H.R.) among RIFC’s diverse workforce of employees, volunteers, preceptors, students, and interns, as well as patients. The Electronic Health Record Optimization and Training Coordinator reports to the Practice Manager and supervises both employed and volunteer team members who are assigned E.H.R. responsibilities and projects.

  • Volunteer Coordinator

    Volunteer Coordinator: Reporting to the Practice Manager and working closely with the Volunteer Medical & Associate Medical Directors, the Volunteer Coordinator is a strategic partner to further our model of high quality, community-based healthcare services for uninsured, low-income adults whom we serve. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the processing and coordination of volunteer applications, trainings and their daily schedules. The VC assists all providers and non-clinical volunteers to receive trainings in the Free Clinic’s policies and procedures, EMR and assignment functions.
